We have continued exploring the solar system, including the cycle of day and night on Earth, and the moon's monthly phases of waxing and waning!

We had fun creating our own 3D model of the solar system!  It is now hanging in the classroom, and it really looks stellar!  

In Healthy Snack Group, we made Mint Chocolate-Chip Milkshakes!  

(The holidays always give us a little sweet tooth.)

Music Class made our spirits bright, as we sang and shook jingle bells!

This week, we continued to study the solar system, especially focusing on the orbits of the planets around the sun, and the spinning (rotation) of the planets, which creates day and night for us, here on Earth!

In Healthy Snack Group, we made Sunny Snacks!  

Fresh oranges, apples, sweet peppers, and carrots, were arranged to look like a fancy sunburst!  

Also, this week we celebrated another birthday!
